Bacterial infections due to cough and co
My mother aged 61, got ill with cold and cough. And some time blood was coming in cough. Doctor has given augmentin 1000 duo for bacterial infections. Usually she is not able to take antibiotics as it will cause blood in stool, stomach ache and dizziness, even low platelet count. Could you please recommend lower dose of same salt. Or can we break this tablet into two parts and take half every day?. As per test ESR( Westergen) 35mm/hr.
