My baby has gained 300 GMs in first month. He lost some weight in the initial 16-17 days and gained back to the same weight on the 17th day.
New born baby weight was 3.9 kgs, weight on the 17th day was also 3.9 kgs and today his weight is 4.2 kgs. Is it a matter of concern?

Almost all babies lose some weight in the first week after birth. Don’t worry, though. As long as they’re feeding appropriately, they will quickly make up for it in coming weeks.
Most babies lose an average of 7 to 10 percent of their birth weight in the first few days. Ideally, they should be back to their birth weight by 10–14 days after birth.
Greetings , kindly update the day of life .. please book a consultation so that I can discuss in detail about the weight gain pattern and guide you through the same
