Burping after each feeding is important..
Most newborns vomit is true.
This vomit is usually of small amount, like curdled milk and is not forceful.
If child does not have abdominal distension, excessive crying, is passing adequate urine and IS GAINING WEIGHT WELL, then, mostly this is not to be worried.
Next Steps
consulting your paeditrician is always better.

vomiting while feeding is usually done by all the infants , it is usually regurgitation and not vomiting because lower sphincter of food pipe is not that strong in case of ifants as is of adults
To stop it, proper burping is required, baby should be taken in the lap, with stomach against the shoulder of mother and chin resting over the shoulder, then small thursts with mother's hand (movement at the wrist joint of mother's hand & not at the elbow joint) should be given for 5to7 minutes.
Usually burp will be audible to mother.
Still 20% of the time regurgitation will be there.
No need to worry for that.
