Don't panic if your child gets diarrhea or fever during teething periods. It's completely normal. Make sure that he/she doesn't put fingers in the mouth. That will reduce incidences to a great extent.
Diarrhoea has nothing to do with teething. There will be teething pain, which disappears when they bite hard on that area. So they use fingers, spoon, or any object to bite. This might not be clean causing diarrhoea.
So please give them cool teether ( keep it in freezer for 5 min before you give them). This chillness and biting relieves pain.
Hope this helps you mam.
During the teething period, due to pain, sometimes there can be diarrhoea in babies. You can also check with your paediatrician to rule out any other cause.
It's very natural .. you can give gripe water to the child .. make sure child doesn't put his fingers/ hand too much in the mouth.
Use natural teethers (like frozen carrot piece or apple piece - make sure it's big enough to avoid choking) using natural teethers will sooth the child
