Baby spits up through nose can't breathe
My 1.5 month old baby who was born at 34 weeks seems to have an issue that I have never seen before. When he spits up, which is not often, he sucks it up into his nose where it clogs up and then he cant breathe thru it so he panics and thrashes around until I can raise him rub his back. He is not colicky, it just somehow ends up in his nose. This occurse about once a day or everyother day. Is this normal?? If so how long till he grows out of it? I always try to make him burp after every feed. He is gaining well and its 3.6kgs now having formula and some times breast milk.

Do burp him well and do not immediately make him lie down after a feed. Use Saline nasal drop frequently. Consult if situation doesn't improve
