Baby's digestion
My baby is 7 days old. At the time motion his stool is yellow/mustard colour with small seedy or grainy pieces . It can sometimes look thick or pasty like this photo. Is this normal or any digestion problem behind this.

Greetings Yellow or mustard-colored stool with a seedy, grainy, or pasty texture is completely normal for a 7-day-old newborn. This appearance indicates healthy infant digestion, especially in breastfed babies where the "seeds" are simply harmless flecks of undigested milk fat and protein. Formula-fed infants also frequently pass yellow, tan, or light brown stools with a thicker, pasty, peanut-butter-like consistency. There is no underlying digestive problem as long as your baby is feeding eagerly, gaining weight, and staying well-hydrated.
