Baby led weaning
Hello doc, I'm 13 months old baby's mom. I started baby led weaning recently. When I offer meals he just throw food and didn't eat. It happened continuously about week. When he hungry he only wants milk. When I offer food he started crying. . I feed him but he just eat few bites that's all. So I thought baby led weaning will be the best option. I'm worrying about him. Please suggest me something.

1. Fix milk timing • Offer solids first • Milk after meals or between meals • Total milk: ≤ 500 ml/day • Avoid milk 1 hour before meals 2. Combine Baby led weaning with responsive feeding Offer soft finger foods,Sit and eat together,You may assist-feed a few bites without forcing,Stop when baby turns head away 3. consider 3 meals + 2 snacks daily,Sit at table/high chair With No distractions like no TV, phone Meals should last 20–30 minutes only If he doesn’t eat ,end meal calmly

More history is required. If bottle feeding, that could also be an issue.

Greetings It sounds like a feeding aversion, which is common at this age. Try to remain calm and continue offering food without pressure.
