Hi
Your baby is underweight ,he should be at least 12 kg by 2 years..you can give him home food and avoid junks .No need of any supplements...make sure he takes adequate food and along with family and increase the calories by adding ghee jaggery and sprouts

Iam dr. Ravi kumar, the good thing is that he is very active, so you need to add some calories to his diet, such that he gains some healthy weight. Try with groundnut oil, add ghee to his diet, add jaggery foods in his regular diet. Increases pulses in his food. Daily egg gets a lot of change.
Hi, iam dr. Sreepriya, paediatrician
Your concern is baby is thin and weak
But you have commented that baby is active too
Normally if children and active and playful and they have normal development of milestones no need to worry about weight
2 year old child will be normally very active and they will take less food
You can try giving family diet.
Give same
food only when family is also eating
Give less milk to child
Don't give junk foods, chocolate,etc
No need of medications, or supplements
