Baby food for breakfast
My 9 month old baby had been having oats porridge for breakfast and seems bored with the taste. Is cornflakes mixed with formula milk a healthy option? What else can we give? Can I feed him ragi porridge or poha with milk?

Hello. This is Dr Rubal Jain here. For a nine month old baby I would suggest you give him porridge made out of any whole grain, fruits, vegetables. Your child can continue Breastfeeding along with formula feeds. Please avoid animal protein in the form of cow milk/ buffalo milk. Finger foods like slices of oranges, banana, mashed potatoes, cucumber and carrot sticks, cheese sticks, avocado, strawberries, apple, mini meatballs, pasta can also be given for variety.
