After 6 months breast feeding alone will not be sufficient. Add three times semi solid porridge/ or chatua/ mashed sufficient thickness and consistency just falling from a tablespoon . Three tablespoons three time along with breastfeeding and night time feeding

This is a proper starting point. Every week add 2 nee food items 1st always liquid then semi solid and then solid. By 9 to 10 months of age baby shud be able to eat from the family plate that is whatevr ur family eats baby shud have atleast tasted it. Except for added salt and sugar.
