Baby coughing while feeding

Asked for Female, 33 Years

Hi today my 48 days baby coughed while taking medicines then slept. Should I be concerned? What should I do to avoid such sudden coughing?

Coughing while giving medicine ,it not OK. Some times there is aspiration problem, . Position Is important. Hold your baby in your lap with head elevated, feed the medicine at the back of his throat to help him to swallow. putyour son on your shouled and walk around .OK
