Baby constipation
Hi My baby girl is 6 months 20 days old. She is regularly having rice cerelac from 2 months. One wk back I introduced banana pure and after 2 days apple pure to her. When I introduced her motion is normal. But from 4 days she is not passing motion. Today after some massage and leg cycling she passed a very little hard stool.
I am feeding Luke warm water too along with breastmilk. Can we give more water to her?
My in law is trying to put soap in her anus part to pass motion? Is that right way? Please suggest so that I can explain about this wrong treatment.
And not passing motion is serious issue ? Is it normal? This is the first time we are facing this prblm? Wt can be done to pass motion?

Hi,
It's very good to hear that you have started complimentary feeding and also giving breast milk to baby.
Next Steps
you can give some water as well. try to add more fibre rich fruits like boiled apple etc. Try to give more home based foods with thick consistency like daliya, khichdi etc.
Health Tips
stop that soap in anus treatment immediately.
