Azithromycin is typically given 500 mg once daily for 3 days or 500 mg once daily on first day and 250 mg once daily from day 2to 5
It could be prolonged UpTo 10 days depending on the severity of condition

Covid is a viral infection and azithromycin is an antibiotic!
So azithromycin won't be helping you in any kind of viral infection.
For viral pharyngitis, the treatment is mainly symptomatic.
As for the dose of azithro, it is 500mg once daily for a minimum period of 3 days and maybe extended upto 10 days depending on the clinical illness and response to treatment
