If you eat any food in daily routine than aversion is normal. So avoid daal for some days & take other protein food like cheese, paneer, Chana, rajmah, curd, buttermilk, roasted Chana etc.

Some people may experience gas and bloating which is why it’s always better to soak the daal before cooking it. Since you’re in a hostel, try asking the cook to soak it and use less spices. Opt for vegetables as well.
Next Steps
Try having lots of water during the day also include fruits as your in-between snack.
Health Tips
Have curd/probiotics with your meal. For more, feel free to get in touch.
