Average recovery time from shingles
I was diagnosed of shingles today and have started taking medications prescribed such as antibiotics and vitamins. Just wanted to know how much time would it take to recover from this herpes zoster. And any precautions required in terms of food or otherwise.

The pain needs to be treated. Shingles resolves in its own. Post herpetic neuralgia is the thing that requires attention. Please call me or send photos using online consult option for proper examination diagnosis and treatment advice
