Good morning Autologous stem cell transplant is well known therapy for relapsed lymphoma, relapsed promyelocytic leukemia. It is still upfront therapy for multiple myeloma. It is basically involves high dose chemotherapy followed by stem cell rescue to avoid marrow toxicity. It helps in controlling disease by drug therapy in maximum dose followed by administration of stem cells harvested from patient himself.
