Hello! Thank you for reaching out.
It sounds like you have been through a lot during this time. It can be incredibly frustrating to be dealing with all of this at this time. We can only imagine how it must feel to be experiencing that.
Marijuana is a psychoactive drug that, as you might have experienced, causes a feeling of pleasure and âhighâ known due to the release of dopamine. While it can cause immediate relaxation and pleasure- it also has long term effects on your body due to long term use. As you have mentioned- it has been 7 years of marijuana exposure. This might have an impact on your mental health that can be a little difficult to undo just in a couple of months. This can cause a range of sensory and mental disturbances, which can complicate as per the surrounding events.
Since you have been struggling with these issues, we wish to reassure you that this is perfectly okay to seek out professional help from mental health practitioners from organisations or independent set ups for the same. Counselling and talking through these emotions with someone who professionally is adept to help you, will be able to make you at ease with yourself and your child.

Hi, you can consult a psychiatrist and explain about your condition. You are experiencing symptoms that could indicate schizophrenia. You have stopped smoking marijuana for two months and you are still feeling uncomfortable. You can consult a psychiatrist first and then consider Counseling.
It is funny at your profile you are 18 yrs and in stating problem you 28 yr. Anyway, these are symptoms of psychosis resembles very much as schizophrenic symptoms because of marijuana abuse. Consult a psychiatrist and clinical psychologist for assessment and treatment ASAP. Condition will worsen with time.
Hi... Please do not self diagnose yourself with Schizophrenia. As you have explained, it looks more a case of 'Drug/Substance Induced Psychosis'. Please consult a good Psychiatrist first as medication (antipsychotics) will be required to suppress your auditory hallucinations and other delusions.
Once your hallucination are suppressed with medication, Counselling/Psychotherapy will be required to rehabilitate you back to your normal daily functioning.
Please do not make the mistake of trying to treat your condition on your own. Psychiatric and Psychological treatment is must in your case.
Do not hesitate to take medications as they are necessary. Do consult a good Psychiatrist.
