Dear mam,
The condition of pathological demand avoidance in children can be due to multiple reasons. However, just on the basis of this one complaint, there would not be a sufficient enough reason to label your daughter as having some disorder.
Kindly get a comprehensive evaluation of your daughter done by a child psychiatrist, for a proper diagnosis and treatment.
Pls feel free to contact me for a private consultation.
Regards!

Underpinning this approach is the understanding that a person with PDA does not make a deliberate choice to not comply and they cannot overcome their need to be in control. However, with the right support, they may begin to make a series of achievements as trust and confidence builds.
