Atrial Spetal Defect,Secundum Opening
My daughter is a pre-term baby,now 22 months,weighs 9.6kg,having Pigeon chest.Now the Paedeatrician found that she has Atrial Septal defect and the Secundum Opening is 16mm.How critical it is and is there any chance for Auto closure.need to do cathetral insertion immediately?

No need to go for cardiac catheterisation. Most of them should close as the baby grows
