It is a dry skin or any allergy reaction.
Do regular oil massage and use gentle soap for bath and apply baby cream or physiogel after bath twice a day.

Hi! Atopic dermatitis is not a disease per se. It’s a skin condition causing inflammation and dryness .
It needs skin care and proper moisturiser to use.
If any known allergies those to be avoided . As child grows older it subsides.
It is more common in those having other family member with history of allergy/similar skin condition
