Atleast 8 times stools in a day
My eight months old son just discharged on 8/4/20 from hospital due to pneumonia. Yesterday he discharged 8 times stools in single day. Can you tell me the reason and cure?

It is due to Antibiotics. For today Give him butter milk as many times as possible. Butter milk will help in restoring the good bacteria in our gut which were washed out due to Antibiotics and will cause loose stools.

Good mornig mam,your son may be has diarrhea due to antibiotc ,Other causes like teething ,infection etc. can be possible . You have to do first of all rehydrated your son with ors with water according to his age. It is in safe side if you can talk with pediatircs by whom he was treated. When he recover from diarrhea start homeopathy medicine BC.21 till the age of 18 month.it will help him avoid teething troubles.

If he is active and taking food as usual then this is normal in children. You can give ORS frequently.

Any other symptom. Like us he irritable or crying. How many stools was he passing before this. He is on antibiotics? If he is not irritable, then no need to worry. Keep him hydrated. It can be side effects of antibiotics.
