Hi, my daughter has heart isssue as per below diagnosed : OSTIUM SECUNDUM ASD MEASURING 12MM WITH SMALL ADDITIONAL FENESTRATION NEAR SVC MARGIN SHUNTING LEFT TO RIGHT, WITH ADEQUATE RIMS, NO PAPVC. Doctor suggested for ASD closure... Can you please advice that is it safe and secure for child and will be no issue in future ?

Yes, ASD closure is a safe procedure and children tolerate it well. Also once closed it doesn't even require life long medication.
