Ascorbic acid is little high in 3 months
My 3 months old had uti E coli. He was admitted and treated through IV and after 7 days got discharged with normal urine reports. After 10 days on 11th feb we repeated his urine routine and culture which shows normal. Today as on 25th feb I repeated his urine routine in which ascorbic acid shown little high rest all other elements are negative and zero. Pls suggest whether anything to concern.

Ascorbic acid in the urine is irrelevant. Not sure why it was done in the first place.

Normally nobody reports ascorbic acid and its irrelevant. Just, get a repeat urine routine and microscopy next time, if there is repeated fever without any other focus of infection, to rule out repeated urinary tract infections. That, warranties revisit to a pediatrician, for proper reassessment of child and added checkups further as per protocol for repeated uti( ultrasound of kidneys and urine c/s). All the best
