Wearing a sling provides arm support and immobilization. A swathe is another immobilization option that provides extra support and further reduces movement by wrapping horizontally around the chest and arm.
Next Steps
Keep your wrist and fingers moving. Do some neck stretches as well to prevent getting it stiff.

Both if it's non operative as both have different biomechanics to work. Sling helps to hold the weight of arm hanging by side creating a outwards pull due to muscle. Also immobiliser will give kinesio feedback to area to hold and support the fracture site.
Next Steps
after 4 wks get x-ray repeat and look for healing.

Arm sling would be better, also depends on exact location of fracture.

keep moving your wrist, fingers and elbow for proper blood supply and strengthening of muscles.
