Any issues in my pan xray?
I have seen an oral surgeon for my ongoing jaw and neck pain. It's constant pain in the lower jaw under ear and neck for an year now. Been to multiple dentists and doctors and no relief yet. No definite diagnosis. Have been told it's Myofascial pain and asked me to do physical therapy. I am currently doing Physical therapy for 2 months now with dry needling. But that doesn't help or reduce my pain. I had root canal on tooth 46 suspecting that tooth could be reason for my pain. That Tooth hurts for tapping and biting pressure sensitivity. So told me to get root canal. Still same symptoms. No changes. Now my Dentist want me to extract it suspecting if it has a fracture. But cbct normal.I went to an oral surgeon and he took pan xray. He said I might have mild arthritis, condyles and eminence flattening by seeing the pan xray.Asked me to get a tmj MRI. I do have clicking and grating sound on this side when I close the mouth.Does my pan xray show anything? Is tmj MRI needed? CBCT TMJ normal.
