Hi
These drugs are helpful and you need to continue these drugs for few months.
Once you become symptom free then these medications can be taper off. If you have continue symptoms then there is need to increase the dose of Fluoxetine.
Usually lifelong medicine is not required.
You can also go for cognitive behavioral therapy, a type of Psychotherapy.
With help of medicine and Psychotherapy you can lead normal life and medicine can be stopped once you become comfortable for few months.
Hope this helps you.
Thanks and regards
