Anxiety for poop and acidity
I keep worrying about having acidity and feeling pain in various parts of my body which happens when I think about it.. Whenever I have to go out I keep thinking about poop and whenever I think that I have to go for bowel.

Hi, I am sorry you are feeling this way. I am sure this is incapacitating you and making you feel weak in a lot of ways. I am sure it’s taking away your confidence as well. It looks to me that there is some subconscious fear that is triggering your poop and pain. There is some deep fear about something that is stored in your system and that has gotten triggered recently. Hi It could be stress and anxiety that is causing you to think about poop whenever you go out. When the body is under extreme stress there is an increase in stress hormone cortisol and adrenaline. Wanting to use the washroom is the body’s reaction to extreme stress. You also worry about having acidity and pains in different parts of the body. It seems like you could have extreme fears and anxieties about health. You also have anxious thoughts about whether you might need to use the washroom when you go out. To feel better you will have to work on managing your stress and anxiety levels. A psychologist will help you manage stress and anxiety levels. Do not worry with counselling sessions you will feel calm.

Hi... Severe anxiety may cause these symptoms but is always wise to consult a doctor (psychiatrist/physician) to rule out any physiological cause (like, IBS, etc.). Treatment of anxiety mainly consists of psychotherapy/counselling in most cases. Whereas medications can be used as and when absolutely necessary. These symptoms of yours will go away within 15-20 sessions (weekly basis) of psychotherapy/counselling.
