Hello I can see you are taking medicines for psychiatric problem . Mostly probably anxiety and depression. In this problem , people usually have palpitations of heart, sense of suffocation while breathing and chest tightness .. blood pressure during this time if measured may come high... So in some people the medicines for hypertension is started while in reality they are suffering from anxiety and anxiety needs to be treated
Next Steps
1) see if you feel these above mentioned symptoms frequently ( palpitations, suffocation, chest tightness etc) if yes you can get multiple readings of blood pressure you can ask your psychiatrist to adjust the doses of medicines if then also BP remains high, you may start antihypertensive
Health Tips
metaprolol can be given with paroxetine.. no interaction as such in clinical setting
