The dose of Augumentin is 375 or 625mg. You are saying 1000mg (ie 1gm).
The 625mg dose is taken three times a day for an appropriate indication.
All the best.

Augmentin 1 g is usually taken every 12 hours.
If you took the first dose at 3:20 PM, the next dose should be around 3:20 AM.
A small variation of ±1-2 hours is okay, but don't take it too early (e.g., 6-8 hours later), because it can increase side effects and reduce effectiveness.
If staying awake till 3:20 AM is difficult, you can shift tomorrow's doses gradually by 1-2 hours to bring them to a comfortable schedule.
It can be early as well, but after taking it early for once, try to correct dosing time, from next day, as purpose of dosing is to maintain steady blood level of antibiotic. In a 2 times dose, it should be 10 to 12 hours.

Augmentin 1 g (Amoxicillin + Clavulanic acid) is usually taken twice a day, which means an interval of every 12 hours for best effectiveness.
But if one dose is delayed, you do NOT need to wait full 12 hours before taking the next one.
In Your Case
You took the morning dose at 3:20 PM (delayed).
For the second dose:
You can take it 6–8 hours after the first dose
This is safe and ensures blood levels remain adequate.
So your second dose can be taken around:
9:30 PM – 11:30 PM
This is perfectly okay.
From Tomorrow
Return to regular 12-hour spacing, such as:
• 8 AM
• 8 PM
Or any timings that suit your routine.
Health Tips
Do NOT:
• Take both doses too close (gap < 4 hours)
• Skip the second dose
• Double the dose

Hello,
For antibiotics like Augmentin (1 g), the goal is to maintain a steady level in your bloodstream so it works effectively against the infection. The usual gap for a twice-daily schedule is around 10–12 hours, but it doesn’t have to be exactly 12.
Since your first dose was at 3:20 PM, the next dose should be taken at night with a proper gap, but not too early otherwise the level will fluctuate and may not control the infection properly.
To decide the safest timing, I need to understand:
• When you usually sleep
• Whether you took any doses earlier
• Your meal timings and symptoms
• Any past reactions or gastric sensitivity
These things actually matter to avoid stomach upset or under-dosing.
