Hi Tetanus  Inj. Can cause  fever  and  local  pain These are  not  side  effects  But  generally  it  cause  both  things  together. The  doses  can be  repeted  every  5  yrly If  you  have  injury. If  you  have  taken  Inj. TT  within  3  yrs  of  two injuries  then  no  need  of  repeat  inj. TT  after  second  injury. Just  you  have  to  remember  the  date. Local  dressing  and  antibiotics  if  needed  are  sufficient  for  second  injury.

Hello Patient Yes it does have few side effects which are minor ans unnoticable. If you haven't taken vaccine in past 5 years you need to take it after the injury. As usual you warrant tetanus booster dose after every 10years.
