Anti D injection and 8 month tests
I m O negative. And my coombs test is negative At what week is Anti D injection given ? Is it compulsory? I have normal pregnancy only HB is low. And what test are required in the particular month ?

We give Anti D at 28 weeks 300 micrograms intramuscular in Coombs negative pregnancy.

You can take iron sucrose 10mg intravenous alternative days in 100 ml of normal saline under direct nurse
Health Tips
It may result in false positives low levels of indirect Coombs after giving Anti D in mother so monitor by peak systolic velocity of middle cerebral artery in fetal Doppler every 2 weeks after 30 weeks.

Take iron tablets, Coombs test repeat at 28th week and take Anti- D injection- Rhogam. Injection will be given again after childbirth. This is to protect you and any other subsequent pregnancy
