Ankle pain after hip surgery
My mother fell down at home and got
INTERTROCH.ANTERIC FRACTURE RIGHT HIP. Surgery done on 17th Jan 23, she is getting severe ankle pain, what to do please suggest

This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. However I would like to examine & investigate your mother in detail.
-Control Hypertension, Diabetes or metabolic disorder, if there is any.
--. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding.
--. Keep a pillow under the knee and leg.
--. Avoid painful acts & activities.
--. Fomentation with warm water/ Gel pac .
Let the part not be exposed to cold.
-- .Do mild exercises for foot and ankle and toes.

-Any way it may be tried,
--. Ugesic (Piroxicam) 20mg 1 tab once a day x 5days
--. Caldikind plus (Mankind) 1 tab Once a day x 10 days.
-(You may need help of your local doctor to get these medicines.)

Better to take rest , apply ice packs now and when you go for dressing to hospital, get examined by operating surgeon only

Is there any injury to ankle while she fall down?
If severe pain in ankle, then better to go for xray ankle scan.. it will help in further plan of treatment..
Next Steps
if no bony injury in ankle in xray, then it will be alright with medicine
