Your symptoms suggest that your ankle was not immobilised in a cast or slab. Try alternating cold and hot water bath for pain relief. Intralesional steroid injection or PRP injection will help.
Next Steps
consult Orthopaedic surgeon for PRP or steroid injection.
Health Tips
Failure to immobilise ankle initially leads to chronic pain with persistent swelling. PRP can be tried as it has good healing potential.
