Hello Doctors, Greetings and festival wishes. Are all left side chest pains related to heart? Also what are the symptoms of angina? How do we diagnose it. Regards

Not all left side chest pain are angina, but we should rule out angina in every chest pain whether left or right. Angina typically has a chest heaviness associated with sweating suffocating feeling breathing difficultly. I may be retrosternal, left or right side of chest radiating to left shoulder or back, left arm and jaw. It gets aggravated by exertion and relieved by rest or sublingual nitrate.
