This is androgenetic alopecia. It's a Permanent hair loss from the scalp, causing baldness. While the patterns of baldness for men and women differ, they both have a common genetic cause. With male pattern baldness, hair loss typically occurs on the top and front of the head. This thinning in men often starts as a widening of the temporal hair part that leaves the front hairline unaffected. Medication may prevent further hair loss. In some cases, hair transplantation may b required if there is a lot of baldness. The cost depends on the number of grafts being used and can vary depending on the area to b covered. Consult a Dermatologist for the same.
