Andenoid hypertrophy
My 5yr baby boy having andeiod prblm.(grade 3 to 4)..he is not getting wheezing at nights but getting reccurent episodes of wvwr cough cold.from one month using nasal spray (duonase) after using nasal spray now its is grade 2.my question is surgery is required? And after stop nasal spray can andenoid enlargement occur or not?plz suggest me.

No need for surgery.... With growing age it will disappear... Go for surgery only when breathing difficulty is dere. Rest continue symptomatic treatment

Please continue the medicines including the nasal spray till his 5th birthday when you get a digital x-ray of his nasopharynx in lateral view with extended neck. The adenoid hypertrophy should have completely regressed by then.
