Anal fissure(stool softener not working)
4 the past week I’ve been dealing w/ hard stools(I’m not constipated)my poop is big & hurts,there’s a sharp pain & I bleed sometimes when pooping(anal fissure)My mom said just 2 get it out,but I almost cry in pain when I do so,I end up holding it in 4 a day & pushing it out painfully the next,I don’t want surgery.I got DolcoComfort liquid gels & Preparation H 2 help soften stools & heal the fissure.I’ve been taking these for4 days & it’s no softer/easier to pass stools, I now dread going #2.

Hi, for constipation kindly note down following:Lacti fibre / PEG fibre/ Free go POWDER - one teaspoon in one glass of Luke warm water morning and night after meal for 20 days. Tab. FLAGYL 400 mg (1-1-1) after meal for 7 days. CHEW tablet ZENTEL 400mg daily after dinner for 3 days. Take plenty of salads with lunch and dinner. Increase intake of water. Avoid bread.
Next Steps
Apply Diltigesic 2% ointment in out of anal canal 3 times a day.
Do sitz bath 3 times a day. Feel free to add any further quary.
