Dear Practo User, Looking at the picture you attached it looks like you have have stains. You can visit a dentist nearby and get a thorough checkup done. Scaling (cleaning) of your teeth followed by veneering will help you alot. Regards Dr Ankit Jain Arham Dental Care, Delhi

Brushing your teeth twice daily, using chewing gums and rinsing after every meal are very good habits to 'maintain' good oral hygiene. But as seen from the image, your teeth have stains and tar deposits. Which cannot be cleaned with brushing alone. You will need professional cleaning/ scaling for your teeth to get rid of the stains n deposits. After which brushing n rinsing will help in maintaining the desired/achieved result.

These stains look to be extrinsic stains which can be due to various causes like smoking, tea coffee stains or inadequate cleaning happening due to crowding in your teeth..kindly get your professional scaling done to remove them..

Although the photograph that you have posted is not very clear, but these yellowish deposits seem to be extrinsic in nature and can be removed by a procedure called as scaling...... please visit your dentist for the procedure..... you will also be guided about a proper brushing technique to maintain the best gum health in the future..... Regards.....

Hi. Your yellowing of teeth seems to be coming from external staining, deposits as well as internal tooth colour. Chewing "happydent" wont be of much help in this case. Better option is to get a scaling done to remove deposits and stains followed by tooth whitening or veneers to change the discoloured hue. Also, ask your dentist to guide you about the proper brushing technique.
