Wrong RCT DONE
One doctor has drilled my tooth to treat sensation problem. Another doctor did Rct in which he had left one canal unfilled. After one year it caused pus in that root. The same doctor assured me of treating it with 2nd RCT, but he didn't place cap this time. Again he did the same mistake of not filling one root.
After one year there is a pus in that root and the tooth has fractured horizontally. Is there chance to save the tooth.
Since your telling there is horizontal fracture need to check with the x ray and then decide whether extraction or no because you might be talking about the superficial tooth structure which is fractured horizontally so we need to check the x ray to see the infection and root canal treatment what you have mentioned

Whether the tooth can be saved or not depends on the level of fracture. If the fracture is horizontal and there is enough tooth structure that the tooth can be restored then it may be possible to save the tooth.
