If you are taking Ecosprin (aspirin) and are planning to undergo a tooth extraction, it's important to consult your dentist or oral surgeon before making any decisions regarding stopping or adjusting your medication. Ecosprin is often prescribed to reduce the risk of blood clot formation and is commonly used to manage cardiovascular conditions. Stopping aspirin abruptly can increase the risk of blood clots, especially if you have underlying medical conditions. Your dentist or oral surgeon will need to work in conjunction with your prescribing physician to determine the best course of action for managing your medication before and after the tooth extraction. In many cases, a team of healthcare professionals including your dentist, oral surgeon, and prescribing physician will coordinate to create a plan that minimizes risks and ensures your safety during the tooth extraction process. They will consider factors such as the specific reason you're taking aspirin, the type of tooth extraction you're undergoing, and your overall health status. Therefore, it's absolutely crucial to follow the advice of your healthcare providers and not make any changes to your medication regimen without their guidance. They will provide you with specific instructions on when to discontinue the medication and when it's safe to undergo the tooth extraction. Always prioritize your health and safety by seeking professional medical advice.

The current dose of ecosprin you are taking is an important factor to consider. You can consult your current dentist and can plan according to his advise.

Opinion for this would be best provided by your cardiologist who will be reviewing your condition for the safety of stopping the blood thinner. It will depend upon your BT CT and your INR values in the blood investigation.
Next Steps
It would be best to seek cardiologist s consent regarding this and his/ her opinion.
