Hello This is a side effect of the third molar extraction surgery. Sometimes the tooth is very close to the nerve and during extraction some trauma might cause numbness to linger on for several weeks afterwards. In most cases it resolves slowly on its own. The time duration is variable and can not be predicted. Continue with the medication suggested and go for monthly check up to assess progress
Next Steps
continue medication

Hi transient parasthesia that is loss of sensations is possible after wisdom tooth extraction. I am sure you were aware or were told about this possible complication prior to surgery. Now this occurs because the nerver might have been in very close proximity to the tooth and compression of the nerve might have occurred during the procedure. Usually this situation resolves on its own with time. Nervigen protects the nerves from further damage and promotes regeneration. Kindly be patient as this is similar to a healing process. Be consistent with your followups and ask your dentist to check for any signs of improvement. They might do tests to check for return of sensations. Any small improvement also indicates recovery. If it doesn't resolves after 6months then alternate methods of approach should be taken.
Next Steps
Do not worry and be patient. Get regular checkups and followups done. Kindly consult for further queries.
