1)If your tooth which is erupting is straight and there is no hindrance,then you can go for operculectomy which means removing the gum which is causing pain and inflammation.
2)If the bone is interfering or if your tooth is in sleeping Position then go for Extraction.
3)The procedures will be carried out under local anaesthetic,if your understanding Extraction you might experience lil swelling,if you follow all the instructions given by your dental surgeon it'll go smoothly.
4)Don't worry,keep yourself relaxed.
Don't feel embarrassed,it's ok get scared,it's normal response, discuss with your dental surgeon about your fear,they ll help you out in overcoming it.
