Weight loss stagnation

I have been taking a regular balanced diet where my calorie intakes are around 2000kcal/day. I started this in the month of January and my weight started to reduce, I noticed observable changes in my body shape and size. I initially did running and then coupled it with gymming after 3 months from the start. Now I do alternate gym and running but sometimes fail to stick to my routine. I was on a very strict diet but during the month of may-June, I got offtrack and started including junk in my diet(occasional). Now I am back on my diet plan and during these two months, my workout was also not regular. Currently I have love handles and belly fat which initially became very less but now i feel as if they are increasing. My diet and workout were also not that much out of the routine and I find difficulty in removing them. Any help or change in diet advise? I even do 1-2 exercises to tone my love handles and occasional crunches for my abdomen.
