I'm 6 ft but weight 57kg , which is way below average body mass index. I want to gain weight; suggest some measures. Should I use weight gaining powders and capsules?

Hi -welcome - You should go for high calorie diet must be 65 -70% carbs like rice/chapati/wheat based foods enriched by good quality all types protein. Sleep min 8 hours, no stress, dairy foods, 2-3 fruits, soup, strew, mix vegetables, some safe high calorie snkacks but avoid all out side foods only home made fresh luke wam all meals. Monotor every 10 days interval 1-2 kg you will improve

Hi, I will not suggest to go for any powders or pills. To gain weight the natural way slowly increase the intake of calories. Add ghee to your rice, roti. Have 1 boiled potato daily. Increase the intake of nuts and proteins gradually in the diet. Have dates, raisins, almonds and walnuts daily. Have milk, sprouts, Dal's and curd in your diet. If non vegetarian you can have boiled eggs, chicken and fish. Do daily physical activity and strength training.
