3 month baby has discharge like water from belly button, I consult doctor he prescribed mupirocin oinment, I used for 2 weeks but there is discharge there wat to do for this? How days it take to cure

If there is no fever or any foul smell from the discharge don’t apply anything on the umbilicus When giving bath wash with plain water and any baby shampoo which you are using Dry with a clean towel Leave it open .do not cover the umbilicus.
