Vit d deficiency

In April my legs started paining i consulted a doc and after lab my vit d level came out 15 .. I tok all the prescribed medications.. Than again frm last month symptoms re appears, again consulted a doc .. My vit d level came out 21.. Again started taking medicines..my legs still hurts sometimes..Is this normal? After completing whole medicine course my vit d level just increased to 21.. Wheras normal level is 30...

Test your serum calcium and vitamin D3 level .. Vitamin D3 correction takes time to normalise.. Try atleast 30 to 45 min sun exposure everyday Drink adequate water Take protein rich food Maintain  your sleep hygiene Hope this helps

Don't continue self prescribing vit D your self. It might to overcalcification of bones and toxicity. Adv do S cal level test and discontinue vit d tabs for now

Dear sir It takes time for levels to increase.you need to continue weekly dose for 2 more months along with exercise and exposure to sun.depending on the levels,dose will be modified ,maybe to a lower maintenance level.
