Hi, Regarding your concern for the blood pressure Its unusual to have high BP at your age. But at the same time its alarming sometimes to have high blood pressure at your age. Despite medication, u BP is still at 140/90 mm of hg after ruling out conditions like anxiety or white coat phobia. An US abdomen for renal artery is indicated for your age along with some basic lab tests like routine blood examination, renal function and urine routine. Further approach can be discussed upon consultation for apt management of your condition

Give your family history about High BP and is it ur first time when bp raised or occured previously also?? If no family history and it was first attack then not to worry. It may be due to panic attack or acute anxiey. Do regular yoga exercises and avoid oily spicy foods.
