Hello dear patient, high tsh value suggest the patient has hypothyroidism, he needs thyroid hormone which is defecient in body as the body is not making it adequately. The required amount is to be given from outside in tablet form. Usually this happens due to thyroid gland damage, often permanently due to autoimmunity causing thyroid atrophy. Hence in that case life long thyroid hormone is to be taken. Other causes of thyroid also need to be evaluated before starting medication. Those who are suggesting that they can completely treat thyroid with alternative medicine should explain how they can produce thyroid hormone if thyroid gland is atrophied. You better understand what I have explained and take the decision yourself. Tc
