We are trying for second baby usually my cycle duration is 23-24 days, my last period date was 1st sep evening, and had IUI on 12th sep and doctor prescribed progesterone tablet. Now today morning I did a pregnancy test ie., 30 sep and it was negative and no periods yet

The reason for no periods is the progesterone tablet that you are taking Once you stop within the next 10 days you will get your periods understanding iui has a success rate of not more than 20 to 30%

You can do a beta HCG test once If that is also negative you can discontinue progesterone tablet and wait for your periods

The medicine your doctor started after the IUI can delay your period even if you're not pregnant, so a negative test on day twenty-nine or thirty isn't the final answer yet.

Next Steps

Repeat a urine test in three to four days, or ask your fertility doctor for a blood test for an earlier, clearer answer.

Please don't stop or change that medicine on your own until your doctor tells you whether to continue or stop it.
