Toothache (molar teeth pain)
I've been having toothache from last 2-3 days. Its a molar tooth pain. And the tooth is fully destroyed, only its single wall is there. The pain is that much that my one side face got swelled. And the area is paining abruptly. I took medicine like ibuprofen,paracetamol and some antibiotics. But its still aching like hel. Please recommend.
Hi good morning as I can understand from your question one of your molar teeth has got severely decayed. In technical terms we call it grossly decayed teeth. The pain in the teeth is because of the infection affecting the nerves of the teeth. Generally if the nerves of the teeth get involved we suggest root canal treatment but in your case since the tooth is badly damaged I would advise extraction.
